Today we went on our winter walk. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to go earlier in the school year, and it's been too cold for us to go recently, but we were happy there was still snow on the ground :D We started off by taking a look at our Kindergarten tree. It sure looked a lot different than the last time we were standing around it!
We noticed that there were no leaves on it, but that the trees next to us had needles on it. We wondered why this was the case. We will research it in class soon :)
We headed down to Eringate park. We noticed that there were no animals out and no birds... hmm, what sorts of conclusions can we draw from this?
We noticed that there was some grass visible under the snow. It must all be melting. Is it almost time for Spring? We sure think so!
