Over the past two weeks, I've been slowly getting our "Santa's Workshop" ready! The kids all gave suggestions as to what should be in Santa's workshop. We had a lot of ideas that we needed to come to life! There are 5 roles in our workshop: Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, and 2 elves! We talked about what each role would look like. The kids were so excited!
The elves have to check the mail to see what letters have been delivered to the north pole!
Mrs. Claus will be busy making some cookies for her husband and the elves! ;)
The elves will read the letters, make and paint the toys, and send it off to the wrapping station.
Once the presents are wrapped, the elves put it in Santa's bag, and then Santa will have Rudolph lead him to the houses to drop off the toys!
This is the first day we had it, so some students didn't get a chance to go, but everyone will get a turn and I'll take more pictures :) Throughout our play, we are practising roleplaying, taking turns, sequencing, printing, and working on our fine motor skills!
