This week we learned about chunky monkey. Chunky monkey teaches us to look for small "word chunks" inside of words. Most of our students will benefit from looking for smaller words inside bigger words, such as 'and' in 'sand', and 'can' in 'candle'. Remember to use all of the reading strategies we've learned so far, and always look for letters that are working together :)
