Miss Smith is back from her vacation and had lots to share about her trip! She showed us a slideshow of some awesome pictures she took and even showed us a video of a live volcano! After the slideshow, some students shared the following:
"I saw an underneath place where the lava goes" - Alyssa
"There was steam coming out of the lava" - Izze
"I didn't see a lot of trees" - Lilly
"I think it was hot there because I don't see any clouds" - Rayanne
She bought a special book for us about volcanos. Thanks Miss Smith! Afterward, we learned that when people go to Hawaii, they are greeted with a lei. We had so much making our own leis, and they turned out super cute!! Some of the girls even made their own grass skirts at creative- so awesome!
