Mathematics: Recognizing Numbers
Today we practiced instantly recognizing numbers on sight, which is called subitizing (soo-bu-tizing). Everyone is capable of recognizing quantities up to 5 on sight. This is a very important skill to have that will help students learn to count on, add, subtract, etc.
