General Happenings: Playground Safety

Today we had a lesson on playground safety in preparation for our visit tomorrow. We talked about how 30 students at a playground is a lot and we need to be very careful!! We reviewed some safety rules together.

We talked about the following:

• Don't climb up the slide
• Don't hang upside-down on the monkey bars
• Don't jump off the swing
• Don't touch any garbage or glass
• Don't talk to any strangers

We will really have to practice using our sharing words tomorrow while we are at the park, especially since there are only 3 swings!
