I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Here is a brief update of our events from Friday. We had a lot of fun decorating our gingerbread house and having hot chocolate :) Enjoy!
Fire Alarm
At 1:43 on Friday Afternoon, the fire alarm was pulled. It was very unexpected, so of course students were shocked. Most students still had their outerwear on, but some students did not. When this happens, we are not allowed to get students dressed or even grab their jackets. Thankfully it was a mild day. This was the first time we didn't know the alarm was being pulled, so it was our first real practice. We were able to go back inside after 10 minutes.
Hot Chocolate!
After we came in from our fire drill, we immediately started making hot chocolate. Everyone was super excited and it tasted super yummy! Cheers!
Gingerbread House!
To practice this month's Character Trait of Collaboration, we all got a chance to help decorate our class Gingerbread House! It turned out great!!
Christmas Sweaters!
Here's a picture of students who wore their Christmas sweaters to school :) Lookin' good!
