Through our Minecraft exploration, we realized that there was so much symmetry within the images! This inspired our art activity this week! Mrs. Tortola introduced the concept of the line of symmetry, and how both sides are identical. For our art activity this week, students have the option to make a pixelated self portrait using graph paper and construction paper! They are taking awhile, so we will have to continue after March break :)
Some students were so intrigued by the concept of symmetry that they even took it into their play!
