General Happenings: Making Apple Sauce!!!

We made apple sauce today using the apples we bought on our Fortinos trip. We talked about the parts of an apple; core, seeds. stem, skin. We used an apple peeler to peel and cut the apples, then added brown sugar and cinnamon! It cooked for a few hours in a slow cooker. It tasted delicious and made our classroom smell so yummy:)

             They were amazed at how the skin looked! The cinnamon smelled so good.

           Adding the sugar and mixing everything together.
