Recently, we've been putting our green thumbs to work :) Using our Kindergarten fundraising money, we've purchased soil, seeds, and planting accessories to delve into some planting experiments. Yesterday, Miss Smith taught us a science lesson all about planting :) We learned that plants need water, food, and sun to survive. We conducted an experiment about which type of base would be the best to grow our beans in: moss, sand, or soil! We even recorded our predictions :)

Today, we started to keep track of what our plants look and feel like. We're going to record our observations every day to help us see the progression.
Last week, we got a chance to plant some things of our own! We planted grass, carrots, and beans, and everyone will have their own :)
