Friday was the boards annual dance showcase, Dancefest! It was held at Glendale Secondary School. We were so thankful to be invited again, and are very appreciative of the amazing opportunity. We have been preparing for this day since April 2016! We rehearsed 3 times a week, working on our choreography, timing, spacing, and performance skills. With the help of Booster Juice sales, we were able to offset the cost of their costumes and uniforms.
The girls did an absolutely phenomenal job and I couldn't be more proud of them. Watch their performance below!
We won the "Perfectly Polished" award for having such a clean routine. Great job, girls!!
After the adjudication, the girls had the opportunity to attend two dance workshops: Broadway and Hip Hop, lead by professionals in the industry. What a great opportunity to become better overall dancers :)
