Ahh! I know it's been awhile since I last posted.. things have been busy! Here are some odd pictures we've taken over the past while :)

Announcements: Phone Numbers

We've had this up in our window before, but just a reminder that for our May attendance, students need to know their home phone number. This would be the number you provided the office when you registered your child. Please practice over the weekend!! :)

Announcements: Heads Up!

Just a heads up that Mrs. Tortola and I will not be in the room tomorrow. We will be in the school for some training and may pop our heads in here and there, but we wanted to inform you. Although we leave very detailed notes, sometimes things go wrong (wrong level book sent home, things from the office not sent home, notes not responded to.. you get the idea). Thanks for your understanding :)

Special Events: Reptile Man!

The kids were so excited for Reptile Man today! We've been looking forward to it all week :)

Stefan spelled 'reptile' in playdoh today during literacy centres :)

We even watched an episode of the Magic School Bus all about reptiles!

We headed off to the library to meet Reptile Man! All of the reptiles were in the black containers, we were so nervous!

First we saw a tarantula, Stefan got to count how many legs he had :) Next up was the star of the show, the 65 lb tortoise! I'm sure you've all heard of him by now, poor guy! He had to go to the bathroom and ended up doing it all over the library carpet :( We hope he feels better!

I just have to take some time to congratulate how amazing our class was during the presentation. We spoke a lot about not raising our hand while our guest was speaking, not shouting out, staying on our bottoms, and they made Mrs. Tortola and I so proud. Manners goes such a long way!!!!

Announcement: Tribes Assembly MOVED

We just received notice that our Tribes assembly that was supposed to be next Friday has moved to Thursday, March 28th, so please make adjustments on your monthly calendar.

We were able to use our fundraising money from last year to buy little people to add to our play :) We even got one in a wheelchair! Don't roll over the baby, Marko! :)
